About Mrs. Mary Pope +Ms. Evelyn Telford
“Mrs. P”: Mrs. Pope teaches Modern U.S. History with a passion for helping students connect the past to the present. She is dedicated to making history engaging, meaningful, and relevant in today’s world. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sharing her love of music—especially Taylor Swift. Ever since first hearing Teardrops on My Guitar on the radio in 2007, she’s been a devoted Swiftie. She attended the Red and Speak Now concerts but sadly, could not go to the ERAs tour. Ms.Telford teaches US and World History. When she isn't talking about US Presidents and WW2, she's analyzing Taylor Swift lyrics. When she was 7 years old, she watched the You Belong With Me music video and was hooked! Her first concert was 1989, and her favorite album is Reputation.
